Introduction*:

Sypnosis

A father (Ryoo Seung-Ryong), who is mentally handicapped, but loves his daughter very much, is falsely accused of a crime and sent to prison. Later, his daughter Ye-Seung (Park Shin-Hye, who is a law school student, works to prove his innocence.Back in 1997, Yong-Goo lives happily with his daughter Ye-Seung (Kal So-Won), even though he has the intelligence of a child. They stop by a shop everyday to look at a yellow Sailor Moon backpack that he hopes to buy his daughter. One day, they notice that the last yellow Sailor Moon backpack is being sold. Yong-Goo goes inside the store to plead his case, but the father buying the backpack ends up slapping Yong-Goo.The following day, the girl who bought the yellow Sailor Moon backpack sees Yong-Goo working in the grocery store parking lot. She tells him that she knows another store that sells the same yellow backback. Yong-Goo follows the girl to a traditional outdoor market. A short while later, the girl is laying on the ground unconscious and Yong-Goo is trying to perform CPR. A woman walks by and calls the police.Yong-Goo is accused of kidnap and murder. The father of the dead girl is also the chief of the National Police Agency. Yong-Goo is given the death penalty and incarcerated. In prison, Yong-Goo shares a jail cell with five other inmates. One day, Yong-Goo saves the life of his cellmate So Yang-Ho (Oh Dal-Su) from a rival prison gang leader. So Yang-Ho then offers to help Yong-Goo in any way he can to return the favor. Yong-Goo tells So Yang-Ho that he wants to see his daughter Ye-Seung. The five inmates then plan to make a miracle happen.

Story : Lee Yuri and Lee Jung Jin will be playing lovers with different personalities/background and the drama will be centering on their family issues.
Lee Yuri plays "Jo Mi Su" 조미수, a girl who is facing unemployment and have been working side jobs.
Lee Jung Jin plays "Han Young Min" 한영민, an architect who is a university lecturer in his free time.
Young Min who was going to get engaged to Seo Young until Jun, his son with his ex-girlfriend "Jae Hee" was 'dumped' to him on his engagement day as "Jae Hee" had gotten married and was leaving korea immediately and Seo Young broke up with him because of it.
Meanwhile, a jobless Mi Su was hired by Young Min to take care of Jun as he was clueless and too busy look after him as he had to deal with his own losses.



Character Descriptions


Jo Mi Su (Female, 26 years old):
Bright and honest. She has a warm personality and has a completely natural face. A good quality of hers is that she becomes friends with anyone easily because of her great personality. Her mom is the person that she loves the most in the whole life. Her relation with Hyun Woo is more than the feelings of a friend but less than a lover and he is the closest man in her life besides her dead father until the appearance of Young Min..


Han Young Min (Male, 32 years old):
A young and famous architect, Young Min was raised by his grandfather, uncle and aunt after his parents died in a car accident. He's the future son-in-law of President Lee (University Principal). Starting next quarter of school, he will become an official staff in school. He'll work as a part-time college lecturer in the same place where Seo Young whom he had gotten engaged to works as well. His whole life was badly shaken when Jae Hee, the woman he had loved deeply during his college days suddenly appeared and dumped a six year old boy "Jun" to him after telling him that Jun is his son before leaving Korea.


Jang Hyun Woo (Male, 27 years old):
Hyun Woo works in the post of the graduate student under Seo Young's father.He has a nice body, good personality, smart and is popular with women. He may seem like a playboy, but he's honest towards his feeling for Mi Su as her best friend. He becomes uneasy when he feels that his feelings for Mi Su have surpassed the feelings of friendship but he is unable to confess to her as he wanted to keep her by his side as he knew that she had fallen for Young Min.


Min Seo Young (Female, 30 years old):
Daughter of President Lee and a full time college lecturer. Rather than looking intellectual, she is gorgeous, passionate and simple minded. And of course, she is also selfish and has a rude personality. She immediately called off her engagement and broke off with Young Min when Jun appears.

Im Young Soon (Female): Mi Su's Grandmother.
She ran away 36 years ago with another man after abandoning her two daughters and husband. Soo Ja always regarded her as dead because of the hurt inflicted. When Young Soon who wants to make up for her mistakes starts finding the children that she had left behind, she had to face up to hatred and conflicts of her daughters..


Mun Soo Ja (Female, 56 years old): Mi Su's mom
She lives with her two daughters and grand-daughters. Although she is always scolding Mi Sun for being soft-hearted towards her ex-husband who only appears when he needed money, she always give in to her requests in the end. She is more at ease with Mi So and Tae Sup.


Jo Tae Sup (Male, 33 years old): Mi Su's older brother and college lecturer


Jo Mi Sun (Female, 30 years old): Mi Su's older sister.
She is constantly worrying and bothering her mom whenever her ex-husband turn up because of money problems or troubles. Mi Sun often accused her mom of favoring her brother and Mi So over her as she often giving lots of scoldings from her but she still values her family over most things.

Kim Hyun Joo (Female, 30 years old): Jo Tae Sup's wife, stewardess


Mun Shin Ja (Female, 47 years old): Mi Su's aunt


Yoon Mi (Female, 7 years old):
Mi Sun's eldest daughter, she's completely like an ahjumma/old lady. Does a lot of scolding

Han Young Ok (Female, 57 years old): Young Min's aunt.
She took in Young Min after his parents and treated him like her own son as she was unable to have any children.
She tried her best to help Young Min when Jun suddenly appears from the United States and the marriage that would have lead to Young Min's success was blocked by her almost niece-in-law, Seo Young after Jun's existence was known. She likes Seo Young better than Mi Su because of their backgrounds and tried to get 'rid' of Mi Su when Seo Young wanted to return to Young Min later.


Bae Dae Sung (Male, 57 years old): Young Min' s uncle in-law
Although he works as a tile retail dealer, he likes to cheat people as well. He's not bad originally in nature but he talks in a really loud way.


Jae Hee (Female, 30 years old) : Young Min's ex-girlfriend while he was studying abroad.

Jun (Male, 6 years old): Bright and playful, Young Min's son with Jae Hee.

Yoo In Young (Female, 33 years old): Editor that makes advertisement magazines for a coffee company. Young Min's college friend

MBC Synopsis

Based on the evenets ocuring around 'route 1' , which lies between Seoul and Pyongyang . The story about officer Lee Jang Woo who finds himself in a war he is not prepared for. Synopsis

“Padam” which means ‘to thump’ in French is a mellow drama about a man who lived life according to its own course but meets a woman he shouldn’t love and about his breahtaking love for her.

From mydaily: Her Legend is about the trials and tribulations of a woman luxury bag designer, portrays by Choi Jung Won. Through her determination, persistency and preseverance, the drama will show how she has fulfilled her dreams and achieved the recognition, success and gaining true love towards the end. The drama will be taking a warmth and cheery tone. JTBC will put it on air from 5 August 2013 at 9:55 PM (KST).

From JTBC: Her Legend is about the story of a spirited designer (portrayed by Choi Jung Won) who has had transformed the "Shinwa"/Legend of luxury handbag industry using her creativity and bare hands.

From Sports World: The production company, Logos Film explained that this drama seeks to demonstrate the intrinsic value of owning luxury handbags, rather than the mere material acquisition of them. It is about the legend of how one (character CJW is portraying) is able to go against all odds to make a difference and forming a niche in the luxury handbags market.

From JTBC: The drama crew has visited at least 30 stores of luxury handbag shops (around Seoul), and spent about 45 million won (USD40,000) purchasing the bags for filming purposes. It is reported that despite operating in a difficult environment, the character portrayed by CJW remains in high spirit and posing a cheerful demeanor.

From tvdaily: The shooting of Her Legend is now at full swing. In this drama, the viewers shall witness how the character CJW is portraying transform from a country pumpkin to a candy lady, and tracing the footsteps of her trials and tribulations.

He is a south Korean who was adopted to America, he holds a bitter hate towards his birth country and the royal family after he was deprived of his happy childhood after being sent away. As the President of Club M who holds strong political and military power behind the scenes, he runs for the Presidential post of south Korea but clashes with Lee Jae Ha and his brother.

Synopsis

Set during the turbulent years of the Japanese occupation until independence, and a few years before the division of Korea into North and South, the story is about the first and last time that Korea had a single, unified national basketball team, which made history by advancing to the quarterfinals of the 1948 London Olympics. The drama follows the loves, conflicts, unity, and emotional victory of young athletes who cling to to the sport as the bright spot in the darkness of their times.

Do Ji Han as Kang San 

Grows up in the late 1930s in a dirt-poor village, and dreams of overcoming a life of poverty and hardship by finding success as part of the national basketball team

Jung Dong Hyun as Min Chi Ho  

Basketball star enjoying nationwide popularity. With his fame, he inspires pride and spirit in his compatriots in the midst of the difficulties suffered during the Japanese occupation. He and Kang San become rivals in basketball and love.

Lee Elliya(Elriya?) as Choi Shin Young

Comes from a rich family in the capital Kyeongseong (now Seoul) and attended school in Japan, after which she returns to Korea and begins working as a magazine reporter. Kang San falls in love with her despite the disparity in their social standing

Aaid who speaks with a Chungcheong dialect. She came to work for Shin Young's family after her family lost its land during the Japanese occupation. She has a bright character and a knack at finding realistic solutions to problems

Plot
‘You Came to Me and Became A Star’ tells the story of the men and women who live in a small room. It also depicts the love, joys and sorrows of young people these days who were drawn into work.Kim Ji Suk will plays the character of a school instructor, Kang-Seok. Jung So Min will appear in the drama as a toy company employee named Ha Jin. Kang-Seok and HaJin clanked against the wall of reality and will unfold melodrama about struggling.

S Y N O P S I S

The fusion sageuk stars Moon Chae-won as headstrong and forward-thinking Princess Se ryung, daughter to Grand Prince Su-yang, who is determined to be King. She falls in love with the son of his mortal enemy, and their romance gets caught in the crossfire of her father’s quest for the throne.

1. Differentiated viewpoint: a focus on stories about the second generation of royal families

The grand Prince Suyang of the Joseon Kingdom, who pursued the throne, killed Kim Jong Seo, a general, in a coup, thereby taking the reins of power into his own hands in 1453. This coup is called Gyeyujeongnan in Korean history. The incident has been the subject material of many historical dramas(also known as sageuk).

This drama approaches Gyeyujeongnan from an entirely different perspective, namely from the eyes of the second generation of the relevant people. They are Princess Seryung, daughter of Grand Prince Suyang, Kim Seoung You, son of General Kim Jong Seo, Princess Gyeonghye, daughter of King Munjong and sister of King Danjong, and Shin Myeon, son of Shin Suk Joo, a scholar who tried to remove Suyang from power.

 A love story between Princess Seryung and the grandson of Kim Jong Seo, the mortal enemy of Suyang, is described in unofficial history books such as “Geumgyepildam.”

Today there is a cave on Baikak Mountain in Chungcheong-bukdo province where the two were known to live in seclusion.

In the plot of the drama, love between the two people was changed to love between Princess Seryung, Suyang’s daughter and the youngest son of Kim Jong Seo.

 In one word, the drama is about a romance of destiny between Seungyou and Seryeong.

In addition, Princess Gyeonghye, who loved Seung You, and Shin Myeon, who loved Seryeong, complicated the love relationships.

The drama aims to find out the meanings of historical events before and after Gyeyoujeongnan through the eyes of the four people.

2. Differentiated subject matter: princesses of Joseon

There are many historical dramas that deal with queens and court ladies. But dramas that feature princesses as protagonists are rare. It is related to the fact that princesses during the Joseon Kingdom were limited in their social and political activities.

There exist few records about princesses now. Furthermore, even the names and birth year of many princesses (or “ongjoo,” king’s daughters by a concubine) are not known.

The lives of Joseon’s two princesses, who lived dramatic lives, are being retraced in the drama. The two princesses are Princess Seryeong, who ascended to princess as a member of the royal family due to her father Suyang, and Princess Gyeonghye, who was demoted from princess.

3. Differentiated sageuk: history as an entertainment theme

The Princess’ Man faithfully complies with the popular entertainment theme of revenge and love.

Seung Woo’s family members were all killed by Suyang. Shin Myeon, a childhood friend of Seung Woo, joined forces with Suyang. Seung Woo tried to avenge the death of his family to Suyang and Shin Myeon. Seryeong, Suyang’s daughter, loved both Seung You and Shin Myeon. The drama features dynamic episodes between them.

C H A R A C T E R S

Kim Seung-yoo (Park Shi Hoo) The youngest son of Chosun's authoritive figure Kim Jong-seo. Kim Seung-yoo posesses handsome looks and strong physique, carries the noble quality and excellence wisdom of a noted family in his time.

Princess Se-ryeong (Moon Chae-won)The dignified and elegant eldest daughter of General Sooyan. Having a strong curious and bold personality, what she wants to do she must do. She is also very lively and cheerful.

Princess Kyung Hye (Hong Soo Hyun) The daughter of Munjong of Joseon and elder sister of emperor Danjong is a woman of charm and dignity. In troubled time have experienced a fall from the status and withstand the hardships and obsticales that came with it. She is in love with Kim Jong-seo's son Kim Seung-yoo, but eventually had chosen Jungjong to be her husband.

Shin Myun (Song Jong Ho) The second son of Shin Sook Joo is the childhood friend of Kim Seung-yoo, growing up whether in academic, martial arts, and other healthy competitions has always come out to be #2. After meeting Se-ryeong, his love and ambition has brought him to betrayed Kim Seung Yoo, and gruatually becoming a cold-blooded dark figure.

Jungjong (Lee Min-woo) He is Kim Seung-yoo and Shin Myun's friend, gentle and peace-loving. Known to be Chosun's #1 handsome man. After rising to high status as Princess Hyung Hye's husband had stumbled into tragic life, in the end the love story with Princess Hyung Hye is one that becomes worthy of tears. 

Kim Jong-seo (Lee Soon Jae)

The father of Kim Seung-yoo, also known as Chosun's "Big Tiger," "Elder to His Majesty,"  and is holder of the highest authority.

Prince Suyang later King Sejo (Kim Young Chul)

Se-ryeong's father General Sooyang is a virtue of cunningness, with coexistence of a sense of balance and cruel heart makes him the Korean version of Machiavelli who is power-hungry, ambitious.

A person that gives off a bad first impression, he can go on one day without saying much. After meeting Kim Seung-yoo have developed a "going through life and death together" friendship. Even after knowing Seung-yoo's identity, being a man of loyalty he helps him keep his secret. Like Seung-yoo he is a man with determination as strong as rock.

The fifth King of the Joseon Dynasty, father of Emperor Danjong and Princess Kyung Hye.

[SYNPOSIS]
Derived from a popular manwha (manga) 'City Conquest' by Shin Hyung Bin and was illustrated by Kim Jong Seon (first published last June 9 1997). Baek Mir (Kim Hyun Joong) grew up with a rough childhood. Abandoned by his parents when he was young made him bitter about the world he lives in. He lives in a place where prostitutes are all over the place. Baek Mir hates the dirty doings of the officials in his country and swore to himself to stop them with his own fists. When he was 17 yrs old, his father (Kim Seung Woo) came back. When he started to live with his father, he didn't cope up well at the beginning. During his highschool days, he met several friends and one of them is Tae Soo Min (Unannounced). They became close, so close that Soo Min fell in love with him. When Baek Mir's father died, his whole world almost tore apart and his determination to take down the filthy society grew much stronger. He fell in love with a lady name Lee Dan Bi (Jung Yoo Mi) who is a jewelry designer and has the kindest heart. Dan Bi has a loyal suitor Cha Ji Ryong who apparently became Baek Mir's ultimate rival.

Cha Chi-Soo (Jung Il-Woo) is the only son for a family that owns Korea's largest food conglomerate named Chasung. Chi-Soo comes back from New York without telling his father. He looks for a place that his father would not know about, but it isn't easy to hide from his dad. Chi-Soo hears that one of his friends works a part-time job in the Norangjin area. When he arrives there he is followed by people who works for his father. Chi-Soo rushes into the restroom, but in there is Yang Eun-Bi (Lee Chung-Ah). Eventually, Chi-Soo goes home to talk with his father. He persuades his father not to send him back to America and in return Chi-Soo promises to go back to school.

Yang Eun-Bi (Lee Chung-Ah) is 25-years-old and a senior in college studying physical education. She believes that teaching is the best type of job to have. You don't have to worry about getting fired and it's popular with guys. To become a teacher Yang Eun-Bi studies for the teacher certification examination in the Norangjin area. One day, she stops by to see a fortune teller (Kim Hye-Soo). While getting her fortune read she picks out a card with the fate bell ring and kissing. Meanwhile, she goes to the restroom and suddenly Chi-Soo rushes into the restroom. Eun-Bi hears bells ringing, but she already has a boyfriend who is about to be discharged from the army. They met the day before he joined the army and she has waited for him faithfully for 2 years. Yang Eun-Bi tries not to think about the man she met in the restroom.

On the day of her boyfriend's discharge, Eun-Bi goes to see him, but he has already left. The next day, Eun-Bi goes to school. At the university festival that is occurring that day Eun-Bi sees the guy from the bathroom at the festival. Eun-Bi assumes Chi-Soo is a student at her university. Suddenly, Eun-Bi also sees her boyfriend and one of her schoolmates together. Eun-Bi becomes enraged and throws a water ballon at them. Eun-Bi then walks away and gets into a car which Chi-Soo is in. She pleads with him to drive. After driving away, Chi-Soo parks his car and Eun-Bi begins to cry. Chi-Soo tells her that he doesn't like women crying and lets her get out of his car.

Eun-Bi decides to focus on becoming a teacher and meeting a good guy. On the way to a teaching session at a high school run by food company Chasung, she meets Chi-Soo again. Eun-Bi assumes Chi-Soo works for the company. She then almost falls down in front of a passing car when Chi-Soo saves her. Eun-Bi, believing he might be the good guy in her future, asks Chi-Soo to date her. Then Eun-Bi sees a bunch of guys wearing the same uniform as Chi-Soo and realizes he is a high school student at the same school where she will intern as a teacher -- Credit: AsianMediaWiki

JUNG IL WOO as CHA CHI SOO (19)

Cha Chi-Soo is a second generation chaebol heir to a food product company. He then becomes involved in running a ramen shop with other beautiful men and a woman. Chi-soo used to making women’s hearts flutter, but it’s a noona (6 years his senior), Eun-bi, who grabs his attention;  with her character described as an easygoing physical education teacher-in-training.

LEE CHUNG AH as YANG EUN BI (25)

Yang Eun Bi is a 25-year-old university student who’s preparing for the civil service exam. She's a former volleyball player and current gym class student teacher at Cha Sung high school. Somehow, she ends up running a ramyun shop alongside her high-school-chaebol; Cha Chi Soo, falls into a love triangle with him and a talented chef; Choi Kang Hyuk, and manages the staff of ChaSung high school pretty boys.

LEE KI WOO as CHOI KANG HYUK (27)

Choi Kang Hyuk is a 27-year-old genius chef. He's working in a ramyun shop along with some staff of ChaSung high school pretty boys. He's the shop's top chef. He's involved in a love triangle with Chi Soo and Eun Bi. He is the fun-loving, awesome, bound-to-be husband of Yang Eun Bi. Eun Bi's father asked him to take care of EunBi & the ramyun shop.

Plot

Detective Hwang (Sol Kyung-Gu) leads a specialized surveillance team in the police department. Yoon-Joo (Han Hyo-Joo) takes a test to join the team. She's tested on her observation skills and memorization. She passes her test and becomes the newest member of the surveillance team.

While, Yoon-Joo takes her test, James (Jung Woo-Sung) and his crime group robs a bank. He stands on the rooftop of a nearby building and directs his team's movements. He doesn't tolerate any mistakes.

As soon as Yoon-Joo joins the surveillance team, they are tasked to take down James' criminal group. The surveillance team immediately runs into trouble when they can't identify any of the robbers due to their masks and their efficiency in robbing the bank. Detective Hwang finds one man caught on CCTV near the bank.

James gets a new order from a mysterious broker (Kim Byung-Ok) and once again completes a heist. While, the surveillance team goes after James, the mysterious broker also looks to take out James.
